Hey! I’m Nik. Born, raised and living in Slovenia. I’ve been calling myself a designer for the last 3 years (give or take). In these years I’ve worked as a product designer in funded startups, worked as a freelancer, lead a young design team as a lead designer and helped found a design community in my country.

I’ve graduated from nursing school, really liked the psychology class and connected it with a passion outside of school - tech. That’s how I got to design. Ever since then I’ve used my passion for both in every one of my projects. I’m an advocate for simplicity in design, good problem solving & a good experience for the user.

When I’m not “moving pixels” for work you can find me, moving pixels for a passion, reading, exploring the local nature, playing video games and listening to podcasts.

I strive to be a good designer, mentor and friend. My goal is to be a compassionate, open minded and approachable leader. But right now, I’m gaining valuable experience as a freelancer.
